HIV & Hepatitis In The Americas
April 23 @ 8:00 am - April 25 @ 5:00 pm
On behalf of the Core and Scientific Committees, we would like to inform you that the HIV & Hepatitis in the Americas Congress 2020 will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina between 23–25 April.
The 2020 Congress will bring together practising physicians and other healthcare professionals who treat patients on a day-to-day basis to discuss ways of improving clinical practice and the lives of patients. The Congress Scientific Programme is being developed to provide state-of-the-art information on HIV and hepatitis, as well as to provide opportunities to discuss regional issues and challenges in the treatment of patients, focusing on public health, and clinical and basic science agendas. We are delighted to once again be working in collaboration with the International AIDS Society (IAS) and the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), as well as the International Antiviral Society-USA (IAS-USA). We hope too that the Latin American Workshop Group and the University of Liverpool Drug-drug interactions team will also hold workshops pre-Congress.
The Scientific Programme will offer a selection of plenary sessions, discussions and interactive case studies. Time for discussion within sessions, which has increasingly become of value to delegates as the Congress has evolved, is being allocated to ensure that the key issues in the region are aired and addressed. Important features of the Congress will be the Scientific Posters and the Exhibition Area, which will provide excellent opportunities to meet with colleagues, and to informally discuss data and generally embrace the networking nature of this Congress.
We look forward to welcoming you to Buenos Aires, Argentina next April.
